Saudi Arabian SBL round 13 best performance: Markus Loncar (by Hoops Agents)

Bosnia and Herzegovina Center Markus Loncar (213-C-1996) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Al Taawoun, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 27-year old player had a double-double of 24 points and 33 rebounds, while his team in a lost game to Al Nassr (#1, 11-1) 70-89. Al Taawoun maintains the 12th position in Saudi Arabian SBL. They are still not able to win a single game in the league yet. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked at the very bottom. They already lost 12 games and recorded no victories. In the team's last game Loncar had a remarkable 87.5% from 2-point range. He turned to be Al Taawoun's top player in his first season with the team. Markus Loncar has solid league stats. He leads league in rebounds with 15.3rpg. Loncar is in league's top in and averages impressive 1.3bpg and 70.2% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Wayne Chism (206-PF-1987) of Al Salam. Chism had a very good evening with a double-double of 33 points and 21 rebounds. It was enough for Al Salam to edge slightly higher-ranked Ohod (#6, 7-5) 78-74. Al Salam's 8th position in the standings has not changed. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 5-8 record. Chism is a newcomer at Al Salam, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Congolese forward Nobel Boungou-Colo (202-F-1988) of Al Khaleej (#9). Boungou-Colo got into 30-points club by scoring 31 points in the last round. He went also for nine rebounds . Despite Boungou-Colo's great performance the Al Khaleej lost 68-92 to the higher-ranked Al Ahli (#3, 9-3). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. Boungou-Colo has a very solid season. In 13 games in Saudi Arabia he scored 19.9ppg. He also has 8.5rpg, 3.3apg and a FGP of 55.1%.
